Avidin has expanded the company’s Covid-19 molecular diagnostic portfolio with its PCR-based solution to detect and differentiate Sars-Cov-2 and Influenza A and Influenza B. 

Avidin can simultaneously check for Covid-19 and Influenza infection from the same specimen by using its multi-diagnostic PCR solution with high specificity and sensitivity. The multi-diagnostic solution can quickly distinguish the two diseases, which are similar respiratory symptoms with a high transmission rate.

This solution can support decision in vaccination programs, because patients having either Sars-Cov-2 or Influenza A or Influenza B infection is not allowed to get Influenza vaccination. Our PCR protocol can exclude both respiratory diseases from the same sample accelerating diagnosis.
